Hello! For those who do not know me, my name is Amira Mccall and I am the summer intern from the City of Savannah’s Summer 500 Program. Throughout my time here, I gained the understanding of how a nation-wide company operates and all the moving parts that make up the TMX Finance Family of Companies.
I was able to work with Recruiting “the sellers”, Human Capital “the parents”, Construction “the foundation”, Legal “the problem solvers”, Communications “the community/team member outreach” and Marketing “the advertisers”. All of these departments make up just half of the corporate operations of this one company. Spending a week with each department was a mind opener! They showed me how it takes a team effort to perform each task.
I also had the honor to be mentored by the President, Otto Bielss. He taught me that leadership, growth, and development are all necessary tools you need to become who you want to be, and that a title is just a title.
