On October 2nd, Talent Management launched an exciting initiative to our Store Operations Team and to the entire Company – Badges & Feedback!
Our leadership realizes the value in every single contributor on our team and wants to celebrate accomplishments, give credit where credit is due, and regularly show our appreciation. This new initiative allows us to ensure that we have the opportunity to recognize, encourage, and reward each other every day. It allows team members to praise other team members across the Company for achievements both great and small, reinforcing the value they bring to our organization.
For our team members, awarding badges and giving feedback is easy! With just a few simple clicks, they can award co-workers, managers, and direct reports badges all the time! The badges range from recognizing someone for their superior skills, to their awesome work on a project, and there are even some that can be awarded when a team member is an inspiration in the workplace or in the community. So far, we’ve received tons of feedback stating how much people enjoy not only receiving badges and feedback, but how much they love giving it!
And what’s a new initiative launch without a little friendly competition? As part of our October launch to our store operations team, the team member with the most badges per division will win the title of Divisional MVP and receive a very, very special prize package! Everyone is pumped and we can’t wait to see who all walks away November 2nd as the MVPs!
We’ve had so much fun sharing the love with our team members and we are really excited to see everyone take part in giving one another the recognition they deserve!
